Getting Married in LeClaire
LeClaire was settled by European Americans as early as the 1830s and incorporated in 1855. Downtown holds the Buffalo Bill Museum, and every August the town hosts Tugfest, a three-day event in which a rope is stretched across the Mississippi River to Port Byron, Illinois for the ultimate tug-of-war.
