My name is Anna. I was born in China. Then I moved to Mount Sterling, Wisconsin. From there I moved to Mason City, Iowa. Then I moved to Monticello, Iowa. I moved again for college in Ames, Iowa. Then I moved back to Monticello. I recently graduated from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones)!
I am Loyal, Forever True, but that doesn’t keep me anchored. I love to travel! Experiencing new cultures is not only educational, but extremely refreshing. I don’t need an excuse to try something new!
I’m also passionate about my dog Ka’Lea (Kā-LeAH). She is a purebred Golden Retriever and she is the sweetest dog there is. Her favorite things to do are eat, sleep, and chew on her Nylabone. We are quite the pair. If I haven’t lost you yet…I love to spend time with my friends and family (cliché, but true), I like watching Netflix (and Amazon Prime), I enjoy being outdoors and I absolutely love food (I make some mean grilled chicken). My friends will attest to the fact that I am always hungry.
I enjoy the simple things. I can find the beauty in the chaos and unity in diversity. There is so much negativity these days, and I’m just doing my best to ensure that I’m not contributing, and instead revealing the hidden (or not so hidden) wonders of the world. I strive to be a beacon of change and instead of watching the negativity unfold before us I’m going to take a tip from The Greatest Showman and “rewrite the stars.”
In case the title didn’t give it away, I shoot weddings! I mostly shoot videos because I like to capture the entirety of a moment. I work with my good friend Jackie, to ensure your wedding day goes as smoothly as possible! We are both based in the midwest, but I will travel anywhere (it’s my favorite thing to do)!
