Where to find Zazou's
Zazou’s is in Dubuque’s Historic Millwork District at 955 Washington Street, Suite 104. The boutique opened in 2013 and carries bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, dresses for mothers of the bride and groom, tuxedos, veils, jewelry and other finishing touches. We have set up our photo booth at Zazou’s bridal shows and events over the years, including Women’s Night Out, fall bridal shows and a retro-themed show. Brides, bridesmaids, moms and friends came to try on the fun and take home a strip. Each show had its own custom frame, so every strip looked like part of the event.
Tips for Planning the Look and the Music Together
Attire and music both work best when you start early. A few things that help:
- Start with the wedding party. Zazou’s offers options for bridesmaids, mothers and the men in the wedding party, so you can talk about colors and style in one place.
- Plan tuxedos early. Zazou’s recommends setting up an appointment at least four months before your event, and says it can help coordinate measurements for out-of-town members of the wedding party.
- Think about the whole day. Once you know the style and colors, it is easier to pick the entrance song, first dance and the mood you want for the reception.
- Ask about timing. Check with Zazou’s for current appointment options and the fitting and return schedule for your date.
