Horizon Lanes and Hall in Bellevue has come full circle—back in the hands of the Weber family, where it all began. Originally purchased in 1981 by Randy and Chub Weber from Delbert Jackson, the well-loved bowling alley, bar, restaurant, and banquet hall is now owned by their grandson, Dawson Weber, and his business partner, Trevor Hager.
It’s a true family affair. Dawson’s sister, Madison Weber, who also teaches at Bellevue Community Schools, will be managing the kitchen and pizzeria. And D.J. Weber is still at the helm of D.J.’s Pro Shop inside the bowling complex.
The business had left the Weber family’s hands in 2018 when Jared Feller and Brandy Dierks took over. But just last week, Dawson and Trevor officially took ownership, bringing the legacy full circle.
Starting September 3, right after Labor Day weekend, Horizon Lanes will be open Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to close. The kitchen—now simply called “The Kitchen”—will serve from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Expect some menu tweaks and updates, plus a new computerized scoring system and other fresh upgrades at the lanes.
