Sherrill has the best origin story in Dubuque County: it incorporated in 1933 so its taverns could serve beer. Absolute Music: DJing since 1993.
Getting Married in Sherrill
Sherrill was named for two brothers, Adam and Isaac Sherrill, and was first called Sherrill’s Mound for the prominent hill above town. Large numbers of German immigrants settled the area in the 19th century. In 1933, Sherrill became one of ten Beer Towns incorporated in Dubuque County so that local taverns could legally serve beer.

On the day we arrive early, set up professional sound and included dance floor lighting, and DJ the night around your crowd, not our playlist.
