Wheatland shares its name with President Buchanan’s estate, and it has kept its German church roots since 1857. Absolute Music: DJing since 1993.
Getting Married in Wheatland
Wheatland was platted in 1858 under the leadership of John Bennett and named for Wheatland, President James Buchanan’s estate in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. German settlers founded the town’s first church in 1857, and the Clinton County city counted 775 people at the 2020 census.
